The Holy Qurbana (meaning "offering" in Syriac) is the central act of worship in the Syriac Orthodox Church. During this sacred liturgy, we celebrate the mystery of Christ's sacrifice and receive Holy Communion.
The service includes:
- Opening prayers and hymns
- Readings from the Old Testament, Epistles, and Gospel
- The Anaphora (Eucharistic Prayer) of St. James
- Consecration of the Holy Mysteries
- Distribution of Holy Communion
- Concluding prayers and blessing

The Great Feasts
- Christmas (December 25) - The Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ
- Baptism of Jesus - Denho (January 6) - Epiphany and the manifestation of the Holy Trinity
- Presentation of Jesus in the Temple (February 2) - When Mary and Joseph presented Jesus at the Temple
- Annunciation (March 25) - The Archangel Gabriel's announcement to St. Mary
- Palm Sunday - Jesus's triumphal entry into Jerusalem
- Good Friday - Commemoration of the Crucifixion
- Easter (Resurrection Sunday) - The Feast of Feasts, celebrating Christ's resurrection
- Ascension - The Ascension of our Lord into Heaven (40 days after Easter)
- Pentecost - Coming of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles (50 days after Easter)
- Transfiguration (August 6) - The Transfiguration of Christ on Mount Tabor
- Dormition of St. Mary (August 15) - The falling asleep of the Mother of God
- Feast of the Holy Cross (September 14) - Exaltation of the Holy Cross

- Feast of St. Peter and St. Paul (June 29) - Honoring the chief apostles
- Feast of St. Gregorios of Parumala (November 2) - Our patron saint's feast day
- Feast of St. Mary (September 8) - Nativity of the Virgin Mary

- Feast of St. Thomas the Apostle - Who brought Christianity to India
