St. Gregorios Sunday School

The St. Gregorios Sunday School continues to serve as a cornerstone of spiritual formation within our parish, playing a vital role in nurturing the faith, character, and moral development of our children and youth. Rooted in the teachings of Christ and guided by the traditions of the Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, the Sunday School strives to build a strong foundation of faith, discipline, and love for God among the younger generation.

Classes are held every Sunday following the Holy Qurbana, in accordance with the curriculum prescribed by the Malankara Jacobite Sunday School Association (MJSSA). Our dedicated team of teachers, through their prayerful commitment and pastoral care, guide the students in Bible study, moral instruction, devotional singing, and prayer. Each session seeks not only to impart knowledge but also to inspire young hearts to live out Christian values in their daily lives.

Throughout the year, the Sunday School has organized several special programs such as Balakalotsavam, Annual Day Celebrations, and Vacation Bible School (VBS), providing students with opportunities for creative expression, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Our students also represented the parish at both Diocesan and MJSSA-level Balakalotsavam competitions, displaying commendable talent, enthusiasm, and dedication. These activities have greatly contributed to nurturing confidence, teamwork, and a deeper sense of belonging to the Church.

We gratefully acknowledge the unwavering support and spiritual guidance of our Vicar, Rev. Fr. Shibu George Pulayath, whose leadership continues to strengthen this ministry. Special appreciation is extended to our committed teachers, parents, and parish members whose prayers, encouragement, and cooperation form the backbone of this mission.
